In Post production...
John Turturro plays Jesus Quintana in 'Going Places,' a film about a trio of misfits whose irreverent, sexually charged dynamic evolves into a surprising love story as their spontaneous and flippant attitude towards the past or future backfires time and again, even as they inadvertently perform good deeds. When they make enemies with a gun-toting hairdresser, their journey becomes one of constant escape from the law, from society and from the hairdresser, all while the bonds of their outsider family strengthen.
Yeah, I heard the rumors for a while back. I'm surprised about the Coen's allowance, but... the The Big Lebowski will always be the The Big Lebowski, and no one is expecting another movie about it, even so Jeff Bridges recently said he would give a green light for another movie, but I think the Coen's are too great directors to even try. Also, you have to keep in mind, The Big Lebowski was not a "Boom!" in the States when he was released, like Jeff Bridges said many times, people just didn't understood the movie point, but in Europe was a big success, people got the message and soon after the States got the message and now the movie is a masterpiece, considered the best comedy ever made.
Anyway, I'm deviating from the point here, uhhh - I will watch the movie - of course, I like John very much as an actor and I expect a pretty fair good movie, just hope he doesn't screw thing's up, he had one of the major characters - a huge success even today. Looking forward.
Far fucking out, man! I'm all in. Probably a good idea to broaden it out from just the Jesus. His scenes in TBL stole the show but 90 min. of it could be a bit much.
The cast is impressive.
Lotta talent in there.
JT interview where he talks about reprising the Jesus role.

And it turns out that it's a remake or based on a 1974 film with the same title.

I was utterly unaware of this movie. When does it come out? Will it even have a wide release?
Let me tell you something, pendejos; I'm hitting a cash machine and setting aside the bucks to check it out, mangs!
...he's cracking.
Sadly I suspect it will be a straight to video thing other than maybe a very limited release to art house theaters.
Performance artist venues.
Crane Jackson maybe.

And, sadly, our undude pop culture driven society doesn't recognize quality when they see it.
