My criticism is that while the trailer makes it look like a complete spoof, the actual movie tries to be an adventure yarn peppered with jokes. It's like they tried to make something serious and then decided to push the comic angle when it fell a bit short. For me the charm of B movies is that they know they are a B movie. They are crap, they know it and they say "that's cool man". This movie aspires to something more ambitious and falls short. I suppose it's not the worst way to waste a couple hours but not the best for sure.
Its a lot like "Your Highness" but with more slow parts between the schtick. Your Highness is a better movie of this type. I'd give that movie a B and Dudes Dragons a C.
