I miss the fuck out of that dude.
Loved his laid back hippy-dippy weatherman like observational stuff in the 70s all the way to IMO his peak stuff when he got truly fed up with all the systemic bullshit in our culture from the early 90s through the end.
There's not many celebrities whose death actually hit me like a close personal friend had died. Maybe two or three ever in my life, but George was one of those.

Yes losing Carlin was a huge hit.
Robin Williams hurt also.
Lately I find it so ironic and sad that the most perceptive people seem to be comedians. I mean think how pathetic that is. Not that it's a new thing.
It goes back to Lenny Bruce.
None of the people that we trust to actually run things can even speak honestly about what a fucking mess things have become. It's up to comedians.
