I love that moment when the Obamas look at him like, "What the fuck is he doing???"

He's like that kid at the school recital who doesn't know what to do with himself while the other children are performing.  ::)

I have to admit I thought he gave a much better speech than Obama. Probably shoulda kept that dancing in check though.

Yeah, a publicly televised funeral is about the worst time to show that kind of joviality, particularly if you happen to be a former president. I don't think he was consciously trying to look jokey or happy, though that's certainly how it came across.  He just didn't know how to mix-in some gospel music and light swaying while otherwise keeping proper reverence for the reason the event it taking place. The verdict:  innocent, but possessing a startling lack of situational awareness.

Like Rando, however, I'm a bit more critical of Obama's decision to ruin a damned good ten minute speech by appending two minutes of vapid gun control rhetoric backed with blatant lies (see, e.g., "it's easier for kids to get a gun than a book or a computer"). Not because he's black - but because, while one may accidentally dance inappropriately, one does not generally write and recite propaganda on an impromptu basis. The verdict: guilty of grandstanding police deaths to garner support for an unrelated and base political agenda.
