Turns out, Kenny Rogers didn't actually write the iconic "Just Dropped In". It was actually a guy by the name of Mickey Newbury. His version is actually pretty far out, you dudes aughta check it out!

I did not know that.  Thanks for posting this.  Great version of this song!  I may even like this better than the version by Kenny Rogers & The First Edition!

I like Kenny Rogers' version but this one by Newbury sounds interesting too. Good thing that Kenny didn't just repeat the earlier version.
