I haven't heard anything about The Abide University in a while. Is the project still going?
On the main site, it just looks like an "approved reading" area. There are a couple new books in there but that's about it. Which is weird because I was in there several days ago and found some studies from some Dudely university professors and read through a couple talking about statistics related to people who have watch TBL. Maybe I was having one of those acid flashbacks though.....
Welcome to our beach community, new dudes! Bars' over there!
I'd still be interested in getting this achievement going.
As much as doing anything strenuous goes against every fibre of my being, I would be totally up for studying for a phd in Dudeism. I keep checking the Abide University page and nothing. Zip. Zero. Nada. ~le sigh~
If nothing else, would it be possible for the Dudely Llama to set up an honorary Doctorate certificate in the shop? I'd buy it.

Abide University is being purchased by Trump University. Of course, as you know, this will be huuuuuuuge. Everyone is talking about it. Experts are saying very good things. I don't have to tell you - you're hearing it everywhere.
O_O -_- O_O
Yeah. I, kinda, just wanna be able to say I'm a Doctor of Dudeism. I just thought it would be kinda cool and what have you. :-/

Call yourself what you like, but I think that the title "Doctor" is one of a few titles in society, along with "Judge", with titles of elected office, and with military titles, that should be earned through achievement and respected.
I get your point in general but, man, I couldn't disagree more as to titles denoting political office like Judge, Senator, Representative, President, etc. These are honorifics which the holders, themselves, have collectively debased and debauched until they're just slightly more pejorative than "Strumpet," "Harlot," and "Whore."

It is too simplistic to denounce all politicians as unethical.
That's true. I just meant democrats and republicans.
I may have misread something, but I don't consider studying hard as undude. For me, it's more dudely to learn something and expand your mind. That's assuming, of course, you like that. If you're not a reader or hate school, then it crosses the foul line.
I agree that there be at least some useful skills. For instance, some could teach relaxation or life skills so that you can increase your dudeliness.
That's just the teacher in me. And just, like, my opinion.
