Yeah this is bad shit man.
This guy was particularly horrible.
I wish they would release the "manifesto" or whatever it was that he gave to one of the people at the scene. He told him he was "the lucky one" and handed him a flash drive that supposedly had some sort of explanation for his malfunction.
It's just unconscionable how someone could do this. Let alone how so many do this. My sympathies to those impacted.
I won't pretend to understand the mindset of this guy and the others who perpetrate these acts. But, man, don't they seem to share some general traits? They're young-ish, male, outsiders who lack social skills, feel downtrodden or controlled, want revenge on those who aren't like them, attack gun-free zones, know they'll either die by their own hand or by cops, and want the posthumous celebrity their acts will bring.
Is that accurate? I don't know. The traits seem common to those I can recall. What does it say about the motivations or the causes behind this? Again, I don't know. And that's the problem. The best way to honor the dead is to learn from their deaths. But I don't see any way to predict these things or prevent them. I really wish I did.

And they are all batshit crazy.
I guess the one thing that jumps out is that Asians seem to be over represented by percentage of population. But of course the Chinaman is not the issue.
