Title: Keef under the influence
Post by: BikerDude on September 21, 2015, 12:02:44 PM
Premiered yesterday on netflix.
I liked it. I was really surprised at how good he is on piano.
I had no idea.

and he has a new album so he's doing the interview rounds.

Heard him on Fresh Air the other day. Surprisingly cogent.

Huge fan of the Stones, and Keef is the most Dudely of the bunch. His memoir "Life" is worth checking out as well.

Yes I have both the book and the audio book.
I bought the book when it came out and found I didn't have time. So I listened to the audio book commuting to and from work. It is an amazing story.
It's amazing to get your head around where he was in the early to mid 70's when they were tax exiles and then after several drug busts and various other incidents they were not allowed in the US,Canada and several European countries.
I can not imagine that level of shit storm on a day to day basis and still the best work of the stones was then.
