Title: Taichi on Xbox One...
Post by: Rev Nicholas Rehfeldt on August 07, 2015, 03:41:32 PM
Just letting you dudes know, theres a TaiChi app on the Xbox One via the Xbox Fitness thing. I bought it and just did a session (10$).

Very Dude. This Asian American fellow by a sunset lake speaking very calmly demonstrating the moves.

It's funny almost it's the complete anti-thesis of everything in the Xbox Fitness. The moment you click on the thing it's got high energy music playing and all these other video with ripped abs and shit. P90x feel the burn stuff, and then theres this thing just taking 'er easy.

Actually, it was pretty easy but my couch potato body is already telling me I've moved in ways I haven't in a while and it intends to take it out on me. so.. yep.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the TaiChi app on Xbox One! It's always interesting to see how different types of fitness programs can be presented on the same platform. The calm and relaxed approach of the TaiChi program definitely sounds like a refreshing change of pace compared to the high-intensity workouts that are usually associated with Xbox Fitness. It's great to hear that you found the session to be easy, but don't forget to listen to your body and take things at your own pace. Regular exercise, even if it's low-impact like TaiChi, can have numerous health benefits.
