Looks like a headless chicken that's been BBQ'd. Those are good chickens, Walter.
I think I dated her.
zesty?
Jesus
That's some pretty vaginal art.
Early Cro-Magnon Porn?
Wow ok, guys, you are being very un-dude. I actually have that pic and use it as facebook profile pic. Ok, the chicken comment was funny.
But let us not forget, uh, let us not forget, Dudes, that in today's North American very psycho have-ribs-removed-to-look-skinnier media-obsessed society, us women of more ample figures think the discovery of that statue is pretty far-out.
Bring back the worshipping of the Belly-Goddess. Please.
Actually I was serious. There is a school of thought that has suggest such images where not just totem but a form of porn.
Here i do have to say that porn is only a bad thing because we are so repressed, it is elicit only because it is perscribed. Ancient greeks and romans had no such hangups, they had pictures of naked people and people doing it but because it was not frowned on the same way it was not the same issue it is today.
just don't treat objects like women, man ;D
Greeks and Romans were far more "free". It is also true that especially with Greeks both males and females had ripped abs by themselves without surgery but with training. They hadn't the Catholic oppression with their fear of the female form. JCD liked it and those hassholes hated/hate it. Where did they all came from? The belly button?
I agree they didn't need porn as no one needs in "simpler" societies, like indios or in Africa, probably because there are less issues, less fear of the female form, and male too, and usually at 18 they are already married. Anyway given their attention to having a toned body I guess they liked seeing pictures or statues. The difference with today societies is that they trained hard to achieve. Without hormones or chemical stuff, just the old sweat.
Maybe I'm wrong. ;D
Am I? ;D
Also both passed most of their lives half naked so they were quite used to body forms.
Anyway, beauty varies, there are ample figures being very beautiful and skinny figures being awful. I think it has a lot to do with inner beauty, so to say. And, like in Africa, an oversized figure means being wealthy and healthy so that's why they used it.
But it can also be that the one who did it was a fucking amateur as regards carving. ;D

Well GSM, I think the issue at hand is not so much the methods of acheiving certaing body types but the kinds of body types we as a society perpetuate as the ideal form of beauty. Whiteheart has a good point, all those little girls reading the teen magazines and whatnot are getting a pretty narrow, messed up idea of what beauty is. Personally I've always liked the saying "different strokes for different folks." Beauty is in the eye of the beholder man.
Also, I'd be careful about talking about "simpler" societies. Just cus a society has less organized political machinery or lacks a ridiculously complicated system of written laws doesn't make them any simpler. Usually they just have different complications. And those societies you're talking about could be just as messed up concerning women's rights as any Catholic or Muslim country. Monotheistic religions didn't invent this crap, they just organized it and enforced it over a larger body of people.
Well, it could be. Beauty is surely in the eyes of the beholder and the concept of beauty is different as times passes by, but I believe it is also inside the person. In Africa almost no one thinks that a skinny girl is beautiful, they see too much of them but because of starvation. So the opposite becomes an image of health and wealth, if you are more or less over sized it means that you can afford to buy food. The same happened in Italy until sixties or seventies when there was hunger especially in the country.
It is also true that almost everyone agrees on the beauty of Romans or Greeks sculptures. 300 gives a good idea, even if it's a fantasy movie and all worked with Photoshop.
My opinion is that whatever your body type if it is worked out a little is beautiful. Ok, that's because in a previous life, and a lot of beers ago I was a fucking amateur bodybuilder.
Those girls you talk about are the victims of fashion, marketing campaigns and so on. But who benefits? And who let them alone to judge about it? The society just don't care. But the money they'll spend is important.
Rev. Wendy is certainly right, she usually is, my point, badly expressed, is that instead of achieving the desired body with surgery and starvation they should train and have a toned, healthy body. But when I trained I remember hearing girls that they wouldn't train legs or calf because this way their legs would become bigger. So maybe there is no easy solution.
Actually if you have few laws to follow life is easier and life less complicated, or simpler. As regards women's rights it depends from the values you are grown up with. In India they are not monotheistic yet it is usual that when the mother in law gets angry with the daughter in law or she is no more considered a good wife she throws gasoline at her and burn her to death. Women who kills women.
Dude, the world is a mess.
Personally I blame the Victorians.
Though they were a reaction to the license of the previous period, they have stained society with a lot of values that are really quite harmfull, not just capitalism, sexual represion, and represion of the female in society (surprising considering Victoria was such a strong female role model).
Porn is only exciting because it is restricted, therefore a thrill at doing something you should not be doing.
As for female body image I personally think size zero should be made illegal, and do believe there is not a single picture now (published on magazine front covers) that does not have some sort of photoshop work on it.
It's almost funny the way magazines are now reporting Posh may have some sort of problem, I (like most of you) realised that years ago. She is far to thin to be healthy, like the majority of female stars in the mass media at the moment.
In fact there was a magazine front cover where the woman's image had been so changed her hips were smaller than her head.
You're right, and size zero should be really illegal. But there are some who benefits, not last medicine and pharmacy world. Just like from depression. You know, having someone to come for therapy for some years is good for the wallet.
Much like it doesn't pay to find a cure for the common cold! No money in eradicating something that earns millions (billions) in symptom suppresents that don't actually kill the germs.
Actually they don't find a cure for cold because being a mutating virus every year is different and you usually never catch two times the same one. This is what they say.
But it's definitely true for swine flu. It doesn't kill, it's less dangerous, it's only more "virulent". They say that vaccine has been thoroughly tested but I'd like to see the long term effects of the vaccine. Since it doesn't kill I won't do it. Can you imagine how much money they'll earn? Remember sars, avian flu and so on? They killed almost no one, on a world scale obviously, but gave enormous earnings. These days that's the world we live on. Obviously I'm a cleft asshole in this respect because usually I don't take pills unless I'm really suffering.
Anyhow, to go back to the thread, I like the female form in every respect, when it expresses the inner beauty of the female. That is if you are beautiful inside it appears outside. Or that's my opinion. 8)

I don't particularly have any preconception of a "Perfect" woman. In fact most of the time I treat them as just other people. I have to admit that the Southern Irish accent is my version of kryptonite, it reduces me to a blathering jelly (or reduces me more).
You know I always found the Klingon chicks on Star Trek TNG hot.
Super nice racks.
As far as the fertility goddess shape goes all I can say is I'd hit it.
Of course I'd wait till last call.
How very dudely of you Bikerdude, why pay for all those drinks like a sap, just wait 'til she's loaded for b'ar, in the parlance of our times.
I just found this (through Stumbleupon, should be working but we have ground to a complete halt in the office this PM) at http://annoy.com/

Oh yeah man. You can't always find a cash machine when you need one.
The sad thing is that a girl like that demonstrates, in the wrong way, the power of the mind over the body. She's able to overcome her survival instinct and starve. Imagine what she could achieve if going in the right direction. It's really a pity. And all those girls who follow that road. But it's also a consequence of living in the rich part of the world. As I said before no one would do that for choice where there is real hunger.
she won't feed herself
why?
To sell magazines or clothing, which is to make $, to feed the monkey.
so we've come full circle here Am I wrong?
Or could this be something that's being put out there to discredit him amongst a certain billion people on the planet?
What in God's name are you blathering about?
Let me just go find a cash machine!

or maybe you're not a golfer
The ForumDude must have aced the spamming paraquat that was infesting this thread. Fucking eh!
