Well, dudes, it happened. North Carolina got the snow we've been waiting for. Not much, but hell, its snow. Most of it at this point is frozen over, but I aint gonna argue ;D Any other dudes here gettin snow right now?
Unfortunately for me I live on the very southern coast of England (Portsmouth UK) where the Gulf Stream comes around the Isle Of White, so I don't live in tropical climes but my godson was eight before he saw snow in real life.
So no snow for me.
Couple inches on the ground here. I like to watch snow fall but it's kind of a pain once it accumulates. Gotta take the yin with the yang.
Snow banks here are higher than the cars in some places.
Snow may be around till June.
Lots of snow this year.
We're about 15 miles east of downtown Los Angeles (i.e., southern California, U.S.A.), so...no. But the low winter temperatures seem to be getting a little lower here every year, so it won't surprise me too much if it happens one of these days.
Come live in Canada for a winter! We're not too bad this year in Ontario, but the east coast really got nailed... Boston too I believe.

Been there.
I remember snow mountains 30 feet high at the end of the parking lot outside my condo.
The worst in Ottawa was the freezing rain. It's like the freezing rain capital of the world.
I spent many mornings chipping ice just to get my car doors open. Literally a quarter inch of solid ice all over every surface.

So you know Ottawa. Cool. (Born and raised). Yes, the freezing rain can be a bitch, particularly for drivers. Luckily this year it's been too cold for it, but we're not done yet for this year... we'll see!
What part of town were you in?

Started in the Glebe and moved to Kanata after I got settled.
Nice place.
I liked the burbs of Kanata better. Less traffic on a day to day basis.
Very close to the Senator's arena. Go Sens!
I could go downtown when I wanted.
And over to Gatineau when I wanted to go to the strip clubs.
Although we used to have Jason's in Kanata.
Pigales in Gatineau was off the hook great.

Haven't been to a peeler bar in years. If you're ever in Toronto, check out For Your Eyes Only. Totally amazing...

Yeah I'm the same. Haven't been in years.
Well I'm Married now but the time in Canada was great.
Before the tech bubble popped. I was working for a tech start up.
Making great money. Partying and chasing strippers.
A very nice chapter indeed. If I wasn't anchored down to a mortgage I'd have considered going back several times. Family and all.
It's a great place to live.
