It sounds this way indeed. Frederick Noad writes someting about polyphonic technique for guitar in his textbook 'The Complete Idiot's Guide To Playing The Guitar' (still as the more advanced level, somewhere in the middle of the book).

BTW, Polish translators have some trouble with those titles. 'Smart guy', 'newbie' - never 'idiot'. Offensive.
