Title: Bridges' and Glassman's The Dude and the Zen Master
Post by: The Daryl on September 30, 2014, 01:33:09 AM
Anyone read this book?

Just finished it myself over the weekend.

It's fucking interesting. It's really less "book" in the traditional sense, and more a series of conversations that are framed (vaguely) by elements and themes in the movie.

I really dug the taking "that's just your opinion man" into every exchange, and even turning it inward. Far fucking out.

Just wondering if anyone else read it, and what ya'll thought of it, if you had.

I can't believe this book is not in the library of Dudeism on the main website.  i read this book for conversations a few months back, a really good read that I recommend to all who follow the way of the dude.
