Many quotes like this are apocryphal but it reminds me of Bohr's response to the question, "How does it feel to be one of four people on Earth who understand quantum physics?" He stood silent for twenty, thirty, seconds and then said, "I know Heisenberg but am having trouble figuring out who the other two are."

That was NOT an endorsement.  That was commentary about the EGO illustrated with the biggest egotistic loser of that time and place.
