Title: Comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko
Post by: mrmadman on August 22, 2014, 03:21:09 PM
Attached is from the Astronomy Picture of the Day a couple weeks ago. (I'd post a link, but I don't have permissions yet.)

Ain't it a beaut? I kinda envy the engineers who worked on Rosetta, except for that part where they waited 10 years for the rendezvous to find out if everything was working right.

Cheers!

It is way kewl, on the engineers that worked on the Rosetta, That sounds like me and my projects!
Dudeism at it's finest!  Start a project and 10 years later it comes to fruition!

And there's already someone who claims a raw image they captured before the official ones were released shows artificial structures there.

My tin hat must be loose, I'm not convinced.

Far out!

As far as the structures, my tin hat is tuned to AM and that is clearly FM (or maybe even satellite radio  ;) )
