I reckon it's a stretch, but seeing the ole Dude forced to take up the black robes (perhaps due to some infraction of his own or because of a horrible misunderstanding) could be worth watching.
How would the Dude parcel out justice to those in his Court?
Interact with bailiffs, clerks, lahwyuhs, etc?
Deal with the pressures of having a job, sir?
The concept lends itself to potential cameos by a motley assortment of characters from TBL. Jesus on pederast-ery; Bunny on prostitution; Walter on about anything involving violence; Liam on public intoxication (damn Irish); the list goes on.
And, at the very least, the title rhymes with "The Dude Abides". Worth taking a look at?

I don't believe the Dude would be very good a metering out Justice.
He's very good at smoothing things day to day, you know tying the room together, but once things get to the point of litigation I don't see him as the right Dude for that time and place.
He'd need a couple more helpings of Walter.
Justice by definition is not about Abiding.
