An ongoing dudecumenical discussion has prompted me to ask this crucial question:
Is it advisable to drink beer on top of White Russians? Or do you think the beverages should be administered in the reverse order; oat sodas first followed by Caucasians?
I did this (Caucasians followed by beers) on Saturday night and got well and truly fucking hammered, but in a nice way.
Where do my Dudeist compeers stand on this issue?

I'm not sure how half-and-half alters the equation. Seems like it'd be safer to start with the heavier and more alcoholic caucasians and work downhill to the beer. We may need a Ph.D. candidate to run a double-blind study for us.

Never got down with that.
I can do an occasional vodka tonic or even a vodka cranberry but just can't hack the sweet drinks.

I find the other is true, beer gives me the want but reduces my ability to actually talk to women.

It's all a matter of how heavily you want to drink and how heavily you're capable of drinking. If you're an experienced drunk, you'll know your limitations. If you aren't and you don't, then don't try to get creative with it - you'll just end up embarrassing yourself, making a mess, and possibly getting arrested.
If you're planning on over-indulging from the get-go, stick with one or the other.
If you can't handle your sauce, stick with one or the other.
If you can handle your sauce AND you're not going to over-indulge, drink what you want. It's a free country, at least where I live.

This seems like very sensible advice.
