As an aside, just started reading Ben Elton's Stark again and there are a couple of characters, Walt and zim, who are like tbl's dude and Walter only roles reversed. Walter is a big man but a pasafist (just can spel that right) and zim is the nam vet

Sperging again, but the Walter Sobchak we all know and love is based on two people - John Milius and "Big Lew" Abernathy.

Interesting fact: The "Little Larry" incident apparently happened in real life to Peter Exline and Big Lew, although the ending was much different - the real life Larry shit his pants and no Corvette smashing was necessary.
