Basically just that:
Who's up for a meet up in London UK?
Few beers.
End of the month. Payday for me is 30th April.
Any views on where?

Could you bump it over to Florida? I could make Florida easier. ;D

I would love to lead a Dudeist Pilgrimage to Florida, but money is a bit tight on that one (and it would take a bit of planning as well).
If it's left up to me I would nominate a starting point of the Cabin upstairs in Waterloo station, a bit pricy but we don't have to stay there, Friday the 2nd of May, about 1900hrs.
Any takers?

I have family in London and around the area; I might let them know about your meeting. One of my cousins is very dude like.
I think the best way to deal with this is to say I'll be there and anyone who fancies it just pop on down.
;D

You know your mother told you that you'd go blind doing too much of that.

Well, I still slack off manually. ;D
Not that I'm going to keep on about this but 23 days until 2nd of May.
As I said any takers just turn up.
Do any of you goldbricking bums have a couch where someone the square community wouldn't give a shit about could recline following the proposed festivities?
If so, I'll look into the transport options etc.
There's no way I could justify the expense of a London hotel, it'd probably be cheaper to go to Florida.

Something like this?..................

Last time I stayed in London I lost my season ticket (for the train) and ended up sleeping under some stairs in some park somewhere.
That didn't cost me anything.
But that was the famous night I drank a bottle of absinthe and a bottle of Cointreau.
Ah, I believe that cocktails known as the "Holy Shit!"
We can sleep in each others arms Stumbleweed dude...I'm up for it...or we just find an all night bar and nurse an oat soda or two until the train home! :)
Well, you know, man...
That sounds like a natural, zesty enterprise. I'm just going to find a cash machine.
I'll check the megabus prices etc.
End of the month sounds good to me ;D
I'd go bowling but I am not really on a J.Lebowski (the millionaire) salary so I'd rather spend my money on a few caucasians. Can't post HTMLs in here but check "Freud Bar" on Yelp in covent garden. They make good white russians apparently :D
"Sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes the bar, he eats you".
Dudov
Didn't see the waterloo cabin post but I am fine for meeting up there too!
This is important because unless I'm mistaken, based on certain past posts none of us actually exist until we are observed.
Like the moon.
Ha! Laughable man!
Or is it the other way round we cease to exist when someone try's to observe us?

I'm not rolling in dough either, but like the idea of "Freud Bar" in covent garden (http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/freud-bar-london).
Cabin (http://www.london-se1.co.uk/restaurants/info/773/cabin) can be a bit pricy (£5.25 for a pint of Larger), and their range is a bit more wine bar than pub.
Though I do have the feeling trying to organise a group of Dudeists moving across London may be a bit like hearding cats with an electric cattle prod.
;D
did I miss this? if so sorry for bumping old news, but I can get there probably, try and get some time off work.

Not yet there is plenty of time yet to miss this!
Hopefully meet up on Friday the second of next month about 1900 hours (sorry all time must be in twenty four hour format to make any sense to me).

Just a quick reminder I will be at Cabin in Waterloo next Friday, if anyone wants to meet me there about 1900hrs.
Sorry, man. The Dude has work to do. That London is far away and expensive to get to. My concern is, and I have to, uh, check with my accountant, that this might bump me into a higher, uh, tax...
And just be too fucking expensive for a northern boy.
Have a good one, catch you another time.
Incidentally, there's a place here in Sheff where they mix a helluva caucasian, Jackie. And probably for about a third the price of a coffee in that abominable southern cesspit.

Shame I'm down in Portsmouth. Next time I'm up in the north (my dads family is from Stockton-on-Tees, and I went to Uni at Durham) I'll give you a shout.
;D

Just in case anyone does want to join me at Cabin in Waterloo this evening (1900hrs ish), that's what I look like.

It's about twenty years since I was last up that way.
Used to drink in Boro quiet often. Most of the places I drank probably don't exist any more :(
;D
Ha Possibly, although the one thing Boro doesn't lack it's pubs, they're opening all the time. Shame most of them serve crap.
Although we are having a sudden influx of Micro Ale houses opening which has led to some of the other pubs stocking decent beers. The thing about micro pubs is that it that they encourage conversation amoung dudes you ordinarily may not have talked to.
It's literally impossible not to get involved in other Dudes conversation, Dudes abide it too, often leading to the regailing of drug induced expeditions.
Is there still a line across the map of the city that students fear to tread across?
Thats kind of been wiped out 'Over the Border' it's known as. They've built the Police HQ there now and a College, while at the same time knocking down all of the estate that was there. 'St Hilda's' was the estate.
Club Bongo International, is still going strong and still as dodgy as ever.

One of my lecturers loved going there (I wonder why).
Didn't Radio one do a program from there a few years ago?
