hello. I'm new.
But I dig listening to new music and want to get a feel for what fellow dudes are into, there's probably a whole discussion on this already but I did some snooping and couldn't really find much, here's some stuff I like:
Brian Wright - accordion (americana, i guess.)
Chinese Man - bunny groove (Instrumental & groovy)
The Mattson 2 - black rain (surf rock)
I'd post links but i'm not allowed. I've not really bothered with genres because i don't remember a lot from music and because labelling things is a drag.
again i'm sorry for taking up forum space & probably duplicating an old thread topic.
Thank you and dude bless.
Hi Jeremy welcome, grab a rug and a brew, always nice to meet new people.
I just found Becks re-work of Bowie's Sound and Vision at the bottom of this wired article:

It almost brought a tear to my eye (but then I rate Bowie very highly).

JeremyTheDude, good to have you here in our beach community, mang. Just dropped by your comment to say hello. Grab a place on the rug and help tie the room together, dude! Bars' just over there.
thanks for the welcomes dudes, i wasn't a huge bowie fan until now, thanks for the exposure. I was kinda dubious at the start but then really started to dig it, can't say I've listened to anything similar, except maybe like, brian eno at the start and then other snippets reminded me of other bands, there were a lot of strands goin' on in my head to say the least.
Welcome.
To me, Dudeism has but one soundtrack:

can't post links!? but shure you'll find
John Lee Hooker - Boogie Chillen No. 2
sit on the rug, relax --> i know you dig it
When you post enough, links will be enabled. Don't worry. :)
A little something Stumbleupon just gave me:

good to know I'll be able to link soon. might make this thread a little more useful, JLH is always appropriate, as is cream, not sure if dudeism could be encompassed by one band but I think some of the more musical members could definitely pull it off, right?
A dudeist skype band would be so great.
