I would never have guessed that the "G" would be into weed.
Good info Lotsa. That's going into my personal archive.
Nice! Great info
Now that pot is legal in one state they'll have massive unemployment as all the cops and makers of cop stuff are laid off. There will be a significant increase in taxes collected when all those unemployed cops and cop stuff makers start smoking a lot between employment office visits.
Actually, there will be an increase in employment. It will be grown for all its uses and the other states will see this which will one by one cause the other states to follow.

Actually the other states are just going to see the tax revenue and follow suite I think.

m5, I can safely say that where I live --NC -- will be one of the last, if not the very last, state to legalize it. May not even be in our lifetime.
I wonder what the most die-hard, hold on to their war on drugs chest, states will do if the Federal Government makes it no longer a federal crime?

Looks like NY is going to legalize medical weed. Once public opinion reaches a tipping point even a empty vessel type political animal like Cuomo climbs on the band wagon.

Interesting point, man. I tend to think that if federal "war on weed" funds dry up you won't see local departments exhausting a whole lot of man hours of investigation into pot offenses. I'm sure there will be die-hards that will still go out and make arrests on violations of state laws or local ordinances but there won't be any federal matching funds to back the efforts.
I was referring to the massive amount of police that are there ONLY to enforce the drug laws. There's all those SWAT teams, armored vehicles, jails (private enterprise that makes $$$$ off the drug war), etc.
They'll just find another wonderful straw man--uh, mission.
