So, fellow dudes; what was D-mas (or Dudemas, if you're not into the whole brevity thing) like for you? For me, it was a day of opening gifts, giving gifts, drinking, eating, slacking and as dude-like as I could make it with my special lady friend, AKA, my wife.
Short break from work/food bank. Had a nice dinner. Wished we didn't have a no-burn day so we could warm the house up.
Ham, chicken, mashed taters and what have you... Gifts, music, Caucasian... Special lady friend (wife) and the dudelets. It was cool day, it was cool.
Dudemas eve was spent with the fam, eating, drinking and hangin out. D-mas day was spent at home, in my lounge pants, watching movies and slackin.
I get very stressed around this time of year with all the false "You must be happy and jolly and enjoy yourself" bullshit that is forced on you by the media. Peaking at christmas eve where the tv has descended into re-runs of the two ronnies christmas show (the one where Ronnie Barker looks like a re-animated corpse).
I just think if you're going to fly a flag, fly a flag all year round not just for a few days a year that only happen to be that time of year because someone decided it would be a clever idea.
Then I go round Klauses house for lunch with his girlfriend and her family.
