Amazon testing drones for deliveries
Amazon, the world's largest online retailer, is testing unmanned drones to deliver goods to customers, Chief Executive Jeff Bezos says.
The drones, called Octocopters, could deliver packages weighing up to 2.3kg to customers within 30 minutes of them placing the order, he said. However, he added that it could take up to five years for the service to start.
Maybe your next copy of The Big Lebowski will be delivered by an unmanned drone.

How does it ring the doorbell ? ;)
I want one that brings me beers!
New urban game...swipe the drone. The goal is to capture a drone and split without getting caught.
I did wonder about the doorbell thing, just think of a building with a doorman. [mechanical voice] "excuse me, could you open the door and call the elevator for me?"

There already.
I've been following these for ages. I like the idea but can see them getting a bit like the ones in Dark Angel.
