Title: Terry Jones' Medieval - The Philosopher

Terry Jones' Medieval - The Philosopher

Terry Jones puts a different view on Medieval scientists, or philosophers as they were known. Not only did alchemists, physicians and engineers of the Middle Ages make key scientific discoveries but they also had an ethical approach to their work.

His history stuff is very good (it was the subject he did his degree in).

I particularly liked his "The Barbarians".

He is one of the major proponents of the "look what the bloody Victorians did to our understanding of history and how much they fucked it up and got it wrong" school of thought.

Yeah, the shamanistic views in Europe are still to this day turning out to be much more complex than people originally thought. Wicca in particular is growing rapidly today and the mathematics behind things such as oracles are steadily revealing secrets. In general, philosophical Taoism is more popular among western males. I'd say from experience, while Wicca is more popular western version of similar organic systems science approaches. In other words, their metaphysics are compatible and make babies! These occupy the broader ground of Intuitionistic logics that lend themselves to viewing life as somewhat of a cartoon sometimes, just as valid a viewpoint as any other. That's how they're organic conceptually you could say and they're also fractal recursions of some sort of enlightened self-interest of the individual within the collective enlightened self-interest. While westerners traditionally focus on freedom, which great by me, Asians understand the responsibilities and implications involved better if you ask me, and shamanistic and primitive tribes in general. It's common for primitive tribes to view westerners as having bizarre body language of a mischievous toddler. They will look away often as if guilty and surreptitiously flash mischievous grins. These are the modern world's taboos and ego reflected in our body language. Something that is rapidly becoming a science and art.

Actually the game was identical to the book, if you had trouble with the game all you needed to do was read the book.

It was a bit old school point and click, but had some interesting performances from the characters.

Cool, sounds like something I'll check out, mang. Love some of the old school stuff!
