Haha, that was an amusing read. Many tactics I've employed in the past. But now I've pulled off the ultimate slacking move - got my manager to make me a home worker! No more office, no more suit, no more commuting, and no more stupid regulations about where I can use my e-cigarettes. Dudetopia, man.

I was one of the lucky few that was able to switch from a time crunching, hoof-people-out-of-hospitals type health care job (a vocation where I definitely took full advantage of the strolling / extended bathroom visit slacking) to one where I get to sit back a little more, be creative, and justify trips to coffee shops to let the ideas warsh over me for some community development type activities. I took a hit on pay and benefits, but figure my contentment will save on hospital bills and stress related diseases in the long run anyways.
Nothing earth shattering, but I am a fan of Suzuki's Beginner's Mind, and can always be open to even the basics of taking it easy, abiding, and slacking from a fellow underachiever.
