It's almost a sin to me to do one without appropriate music, and I would like to find some new tracks for that.
My fav lately has been Four Cornered Room by War.
What's yours, dudes?
Pink Floyd.
I'm banished outside if I want to smoke and my IPhone sound is buggered so I listen to nature mostly which I nice as the neighbour has a water feature and the crickets remind me of Spain :)
I like my Last.fm station.
It might be a little cliche but Mr Bob Marley does it for me... 3 little birds... my fav... don't worry 'bout a thing
Steppenwolf, Bread and the Hollies.
Internet radio station Monkey Radio by Brennan Underwood (of Winamp fame). http://monkeyradio.org (http://monkeyradio.org)
Been listening for years. Trip hop, acid jazz, ambient... hard to describe so I'll just use Monkey Radio's motto: Grooving. Sexy. Beats.
Last time I fired up a fatty I went old school with "The Last Waltz".

I was smiling.
Could have been the band or the smoke.
I have no idea why they call this stoner rock, but it does fit the situation pretty damn well. love Clutch

haven't listened to much of his other stuff, but i've really been digging kurt vile's song "wakin on a pretty day." it's like 10 minutes of mellow

Yeah Kurt Vile is the shit. I also like to listen to Talking Heads, The Roots and Coltrane
It would take me too long to list what I do listen to.
Best I've come up with is I don't like two types of music, Country, and Western.
But even then there's some of that I can stand.
I don't listen to heavy club music at home, but have been known to have attended the odd rave by accident.

I can think of once exception you probably could stand - JJ Cale. It's not straight out country, but more like light country rock with a lot mixed in. have only recently discovered the guy and he's amazing

Rock, Blues, Classical, Metal, Jazz... It depends on my mood.
Although I almost always kick it off with Pink Floyd, Widespread Panic (the earlier stuff) or the Grateful Dead... I have a "few" playlists for the occasion ;)
A video I made a few years ago set to a tune by an old friend...

Another video... This is set to a song I recorded w/my brother - Hope you dig it, man

Led Zeppelin.
When I'm stoned there are all sorts of extra instruments I don't hear usually.
I don't hear a thing when I smoke a J. It puts me to sleep, that's why!
My mind hasn't been as limber as it should have been over the past few years, but I recall Bob Dylan, Nirvana, and Beck as being solid calls. Also, laugh if you wish dudes, but Phil Collins is a musical genius. Honorable mention to the Flaming Lips for "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" but I couldn't dig the rest of their stuff. And that's cool.
I listened to a lot of Pink Floyd, especially when I was feeling down. I was only about 10 years ago that things really turned around and now I rarely listen to them. Still enjoy them when I do listen. Plus most I have is on vinyl, not so easy to just hit PLAY on.
I like listening to the later beach boys stuff. The vocal harmonies blow me away.
Almost anything but the fucking Eagles, man!
And.... Vagina!
Why, yes, thanks for offering, man. I'll take the second from the left. (Nice Sig).
Last time i did while on the influence of a J was Darling Nikki
