my Nihilist friend has been a pain in my ass lately. Making fun of my new lifestyle and just trying his best to keep me from taking 'er easy. I sense a change coming dudes.
Don't take it personal, Dude. He's a Nihilist, he believes in nossing. It seems like he's doing it just to get your goat and if he sees that he's done it then his resolve will be bolstered. If you just laugh him off or decline engagement when he starts his shit he'll get confused and maybe crash the plane into the mountain.
Or you could go upside his head with a bat.

Like the bat idea but that would be very undude. I'm gonna keep abiding and laugh him off, he'll eventually get bored with it I guess.

Best suggestion yet. You can't reason with unreasonable people, and that's exactly what the dude realized when trying to talk reasonably with the Big Lebowski. Eventually he said fuck it and went on with his life. Sometimes friends come and go man, part of life, which is merely moments in time, and sometimes friends come and go... ah look at me..I'm ramblin' again...
I mean, say what you will about the Church of the Latter Day Dude, at least its an ethos.
