Achoo! is the summary of my weekend. Upping the zinc and C, sipping some elderberry tea... Any advice?

Man, that's a fuckin bummer. Been there many times, and nothin makes me more UnDude than a cold during the best time of year! I don't got a remedy, but what I've done is make a hot toddy and have a bath with some suds 'n' salts. Always makes shit better. Hope you feel better Dude!

Just to make you feel better.. I've not had a cold for about three years now! I've told myself I'm not allowed or else I won't be able to see my special lady! It's  amazing what mind over matter does!

Peace dude. Get well soon.

Emergen-C or that Airborne tablet stuff.  It might be a placebo but I used to work public places a lot.  Libraries, stadiums, Hospitals.  Lot's of people in and out that bring with them a whole plethora of different nasty buggers.  First sign of a sniffle or tingle of a sore throat I'd start taking it.

Did it keep me from getting sick?  Not all the time, but I like to think it made it more manageable and not as worse as it could have been.  I brought home a particularly nasty cold one time, I was able to work through it and function and was feeling better on day 3.  Rest of the family had it and it knocked them out for 7 days, 8th they started feeling better.
