How's it goin guys?
So, I recently finished my ordination, and I was curious if anyone had any insight to this matter. I went to the link provided in another post: http://dudeism.com/smf/wedding-ceremonies/marriage-laws-in-different-states/ (http://dudeism.com/smf/wedding-ceremonies/marriage-laws-in-different-states/) , and it did help a ton, as did the most of the posts here. However, I'm feeling like the description of a place of worship is loosely defined. Does anyone out there have any insight on the matter? Or perhaps, had success?
I believe a Dudeist place of worship can be anywhere at anytime. The main requirement is being in a place where you are not judged and you are free to be yourself. I know a couple of our fellow Dudeists who consider bowling alleys sacred ground and a couple of Dude-friendly folks who see baseball or football stadiums as their version of the Cistine chapel. It's all where you feel closest to your Deity. Dudeism is righteous cool that way.
I think if it's got a bar and a rug, it's all good.
