Now I thought this was "Print your own Dude" and was disappointed to see the bra and the guitar, not a 3d Dude being printed.

I love the guitar but wonder.... How good is the sound quality? I've built electric guitars long ago. Wood has a certain quality to it. I'd be eager to hear it live.

You are correct, Sir;
though I was thinking that with 3D printing this could be accomplished using these methods (which I was showcasing). To make up for my lack of delivering, I offer this...

Sculpting Walter Sobchak - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCklSpiDrf4 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCklSpiDrf4)   ...which, as far as I know, could be ported over to "print Walter or the Dude." Am I wrong, or just an asshole?  ;)

It's possible. Looks like something in the same class as ZBrush. It can be converted to stl format easily.

You might lose some very fine detail like the wrinkles and so on, depending on your printer.

Ricky Gervais' face was scary realistic...

I think it is actually ZBrush

From the page:

Sculpting Walter Sobchak (The big Lebowski)
ZBrush, about 2 hours

Though I've had a bit of a dig around because after looking at their site and seeing the price tag for ZBrush $699, ouch.

Ah, OK. I hadn't looked at the page. Blender has a mesh sculpt feature, and it's free. To be honest, though, ZBrush is probably the best one out there. Long ago I had gotten a free copy, but that was long ago.
