Title: Beard!
Post by: Boston Rockbury on April 03, 2013, 02:01:51 PM
I had this great idea of growing a dude-beard.

I'm probably the first person to think of this, so I took a photo to show what it looks like.

Think I might have got a little startled by the flash.

The beard abides.

Thanks for the positive comments dudes. Now I just need it to grow quicker. Probably some kind of fertiliser I can put on it to speed things up. I'm into natural stuff so I guess it'll have to be organic horse manure. Should give it a nice 'rural' look.

I have plenty of horse manure out here. You're welcome to really try it if you want, but it mostly just smells before it decomposes. Works great for composts and gardens-- provided you're not in an area with a two-plus year drought going on.

That's a kind offer. I once had a great veggie plot fuelled by horse manure. Great raspberries, courgettes, squashes, onions.... all sorts of stuff. It's taken me way too long to realise that's what life's really about - not achieving, just doing groovy, wholesome things. I wish my kids still went horse riding, it was the one thing that got them away from their computers.
