Stephen Hawking, Arthur C. Clarke and Carl Sagan (via satellite) discuss the Big Bang theory, God, our existence as well as the possibility of extraterrestrial life.
Their opinion, man - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKQQAv5svkk (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKQQAv5svkk)
Far Fucking out man! I like Arthur C. Clarke's style. Space Odyssey was pretty amazing.
If you're into to this stuff, y'all should check out "Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman"- Good stuff

... just found - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYwYiw9pFCc (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYwYiw9pFCc)
Great find!
I assume that Hawking is talking about the Unified Field Theory?
Einstein died looking for it.
Unifying Electromagnetism with Gravitational Force (AKA general theory of relativity).
The math works for both but they don't marry. So we know something is missing.
Lately they've been thinking it's the Higgs Boson.
Damn man, they've been looking for the Higgs Boson for quite a while. I'm hoping they'll find the answer to that one with that huge particle collider in Geneva.

I think so, yes, AKA... the GUT..... Grand Unified Theory.

Or maybe with some ganja? ;)

Sounds groovy! Just how huge are those particles dude?
Ha yeah maybe ganja or maybe an acid flashback. The collider is like 17 miles around and its underground, so they could totally fit a cozy little grow op down there...
