Good luck getting change from that at a 7 11
Do we have details yet?
How big is this coin going to be? Just how shiny will it be?
Will Obummers face be on the coin?
And of course, the biggest question..how much will this cost the taxpayer?
I mean...that coin is going to need a fucking huge pair of pants to hold it!

Well,thats great information! Thanks dude!
Looks like I can now carry over 25 trillion dollars with ease!
THANK GOD!!!
Interesting comments in the linked blog post. Ignorance Is Strength, or what? Some "William" seems to think that Social Security is somehow related to the federal budget, which it de jure is not. The Social Security Trust Fund is not a subset of the General Fund, so it has fucking nothing to do with the federal budget, the national debt, the federal budget deficit, or Ayn Rand's putrefied vagina.
This Orwellian reality is a real bummer, man. It's like no one's ever read Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution. Congress has the power "To coin Money, and regulate the Value thereof...", right there in the fifth paragraph where it's been all along.
oh,dude..you scrolled down, and read the comments?
Im sorry,man..if you do shit like that, there is always.always going to be a "William",or perhaps many "Williams" that will cause you to read with astonishment, shock, and fear for the human race..
Dude, stay away from reading too many comments!
You will go mad,I tell you, mad!

Where were you 40 years ago when this warning would have done me some good, man? :o
As always, George Carlin says it well:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5dBZDSSky0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5dBZDSSky0)
These days almost everyone will look you dead in the eye and say with great conviction that yes, indeed, old George is/was right about that. And within three minutes will go right back to carrying on about some bullshit politricks and how it's all of those people who are not like him and don't think the same thoughts as him who are to blame for every fucking thing that he thinks is wrong in the world. And how, if "we" don't stop them, they're only going to make it worse, much worse. As if it can be had both ways.
That's what I find disheartening. We USians live in a country in which commoners like ourselves devote great emotional and intellectual energy to concepts that we know are fictional and we steadfastly refuse to allow facts to alter beliefs that we know to be false. We believe that our opinions matter or can be made to matter to those in power. We believe that we have rights. We believe that justice is available to us. We believe all kinds of shit that just isn't true, that we know deep in our souls is not true, and then we act surprised when god damn it it's happening to us like it was never supposed to. Got a terminal cancer because there's fracking fluid coming out of your kitchen faucet? Fuck you. It is
perfectly legal for them to pump shit that they
know is toxic into your drinking water supply, so you have no recourse. No one owes you a damned thing. And, besides, everyone knows that all that's in fracking fluid is water, sand, and a little soap. You're just another asshole looking for a free ride on the backs of hard working Americans!
That's what I find disheartening. But only when I think about it, which isn't really all that often. I'm not an alcoholic but I still take the drunkard's prayer or whatever the fuck they call it to heart. I accept the things I cannot change, and just get on about my life. If they want to mint up a truckload of trillion dollar coins, fine. If they want to outlaw guns, fine. If they want to declare martial law, fine. Whatever. We'll get along until they come to my house, then I'm going to take a handful of thugs who are just following orders over to the other side with me. No worries.
8)
Informed people that are able to think for themselves are being phased-out,replaced by sheeple.
George Carlin has always been, and will continue to be to me a voice if reason in a sea of insanity.
I try not to think about all the "William" type people out there..you have to just abide, dude.

That's a righteous fucking affirmation, man. It ties the whole mindset together.
