I don't think he was nominated here, but Richard Wright , keyboardist of Pink Floyd has headed to the Great Gig In The Sky at age 65 from cancer. R.I.P., brother. I'll light a candle and play some Floyd tonight.

Good night, sweet prince.
"The Wall"? Truely a great album but that's a Roger Waters work albeit peformed by a disintergrating Pink Floyd. They never even recorded it together and Rick was on his way out by then. Better to honour the dude with his Dark Side tracks or better still, Echoes. Just my opinion, everyone to their own.
live in pompeii.....awesome
and dead in pompey.....well if they ever played here (portsmouth) they would have, probably, well maybe they would have rekindled their career after years.
Shit, there comes a time when you realise you've got to that age where more and more of your musical hero's have died.
rip Richard Wright.
