So dudes, it would seem that the Mayan dudes were just a bit off on the whole dooms day thing they had been accused of. Given that it looks like we'll be around here for a tad bit longer, any thoughts on new Dudeist frontiers for 2013? How do you move Dudeism forward and still maintain dude-like slacking?
Thoughts on the concept?
;D Personally, rack spotting is a favorite slacking activity of mine...........

For me it's more of a balance thing. There are a lot of thing I need to work on and do. Slacking is fine but sometimes I need to be non-slacking. I can work hard on certain things so I can slack.
And rack spotting? I'm more of a back spotter. :)
Tumblin along like the tumblin tumbleweeds.
Boobs are way cool!
You know the occasional acid flashback.
Music in there also.
With the new year right around the corner I just scored my yearly bottle of hooch.
Wife has me on the short leash with the hard stuff. Bless her heart.
But I get that one bottle of Bourbon for the holiday.
Buffalo Trace this year.

A worthy fucking adversary!
That's one of the wonderful things about being given until the end of 2013; we can slack plenty between now and then and still get quite a bit accomplished. As long as we get more slacking accomplished in a day than actual work I believe we can still maintain the proper image. Even one hour a day over the next 367 days makes for a hell of a lot of effort. I'm sure it's a dirty word to some, but I've got no problem with multitasking; ie downing an oat soda while getting something marginally more useful accomplished.

Point of order the Mayans didn't see the end of the earth its the end of a cycle (the thirteenth of seventeen I believe).
I see we are back to discussions of moving Dudeism forward again. ;D
The problem I have with this is why should we move Dudeism forward?
Where are we going to move it to?
Should Dudeism be syndicating itself across the world like other "religions" (McDudeism)?
See (in my humble Dudeist opinion) moving Dudeism on just seems like a lot of work to me.
Also I continue to hold with my anti-evangelical stance for Dudeism.

Sooner or later there will be an offshoot. A dark side.
Revenge of the Dude.
The Post 911 world sees Walter's security firm rise to Treehornian heights while the Dude was left tryna pay the rent.
Now he is full of bitterness and sulking slacker ennui.
And so now, the rug pissers and nihilists will pay.
Even strong men cry.
Even strong men cry.
It's like how Darth Vader started out good and then went to the dark side.
Dude Vader!
Vagina vagina vagina.
Boobs!
I feel dudeism has moved enough. Those who need it, will find it. Those who don't find it, well, don't need it. Let's not confuse a desire to help others with a desire for self-relevancy. We often times are looking to see if others agree with us for justification of our own agenda. So much hurt in this world has been caused by people doing "good" to other people. Just let it be. Dudeism hasn't ever needed a god damn thing, cept maybe a doobie and a beverage. I know, it's a bummer for all those achievers who see a need to shape that which can't be shaped, but oh well, watching'em try keeps things interestin' anyway. Later on, my brothers and sisters.

Testify Brother....Testify! 8)
I think that the true saints are invisible because they are just out there raising their kids, chopping the wood, and carrying the water. Here's to invisibility in 2013.

Dadism abides!
Moving Dudeism forward? Sounds exhausting...
