At some point, I'd like to meet up with other NC-based dudes. To me, a "dudicle" is a group of dudes. Sort of an enclave or cubicle... or dudicle. Get it?
Anyway, right now with the holidays and such, I don't think we should meet together just yet. I'm looking at something along with some kind of event that would be outside in Raleigh's Moore Square. There are various events during spring and summer.
If you know the Raleigh area, I'm thinking somewhere near Tir na nOg, since it has great beer. Another good place would be The Flying Saucer, which has a huge selection of beers.
Of course, we wouldn't have to meet there, because drinking responsibly and driving sober is top priority. Other places of interest are welcome.
MD, got a few leads; had the boys in the crime lab working in shifts..........

Woohoo! Thanks!
Charlotte is very far away. RDU is in the eastern part of the state, and Charlotte is on the western end. Greensboro is 80 miles from Raleigh, so it's not too far away.
But the other links will be a huge help!

Far out, man.(http://dudeism.com/smf/Themes/default/images/post/thumbup.gif)
What's the local accommodation like?Transport links etc.Sounds like a good gig.Maybe make a long weekend out of it.
I can compile a list. Raleigh itself has a huge number of spots for incoming travelers. It's home of the RDU International Airport, and has many hotels, taxi & limo services, and so on. I'll look at the calendars and see when the best time of year. The only time that comes immediately to mind is March; I usually spend a lot of time there during St Patrick's Day, since it's my birthday and my dad's family are Irish.
Raleigh plans a lot of events, even a lot of art events I take part in many times. So there's something almost all year round!
