So dudes, will you be seen sportin' a pair of "Google Glasses" anytime soon?

I love technology, I'd grab a pair in a second if I could afford them. I've spent years (on and off) thinking about how to have a HUD inside my motorcycle helmet, this sort of thing would be awesome.
I don't even have a smart phone.
I think twitter is something a rat does.
And amazingly I am a high tech consultant.
Go figure.
Nope I wouldn't want one.
I don't feel the need to be connected constantly.
But do they fit for those of us who already wear glasses? Hmm.

Some of this shit is technology for the sake of technology. More excuses to excuse ourselves from real communication with real people.
IMDO of course...
Wow,dude...I never even heard of this shit!
Google glasses?...So...now you can Google,Facebook, twitter,AND drive a car,all at the same time? Awesome!! Sounds like just the thing we all need,to further distance ourselves from the real world!
Mark it fucking zero!
Yep.Better Than Life.
After reading that article, three words come to mind: OH HELL NO.
You get one of these things, then one hour later, the augmented reality will start popping up real-time ads. Think Layar and when you walk by a Starbucks, it sees the logo and has some 3D person telling you the specials. You walk by a grocery aisle and today's sales invade your vision. You walk by a stripper club and--well, that last one sounds good.
If you think ad popups are bad now, wait til these things are out there. Hopefully the eggheads at Google will figure out an image recognition that will see a red light or the red "Don't Walk" images and pop up a huge "HEY DUMBASS THERE ARE METAL DEATH BOXES WHIZZING BY" sign in the wearer's vision.
One thing is for damn sure; it will be Android based, therefore there will be free apps for it from the Google PlayStore, therefore the free ones will have those little annoying ads in them, hence you will be walking or driving around town with ads right in your eyeball all day. Are you ready to be fucked, man?! Dios me!
.....it's like Lenin said...
As an Android app programmer I'll find a way to reduce Project Glass idiocy in my apps as much as possible. Already got ideas for these plans.
These things... ugh...
