Post by: DigitalBuddha on August 04, 2008, 03:17:46 AM
One hell of a great dude!! He has gone the way of the coffee can, that's a bummer, man!!

He stood up to the nihilists who tried to cut off his johnson......

Alexander Solzhenitsyn dies at 89. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7540038.stm

I nominate Alexander Solzhenitsyn for a great dude in history.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy described him as "one of the greatest consciences of 20th Century Russia".

Say what you want about Gulags, at least they made for great book material, and for those of us who always keep a limber mind through a series of what have yous, A Day in the Life of Ivan Ivanovich is a great read and reread.

After that experience....ah lost my train of thought..fuck it i'm going bowling
