Title: Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Post by: Masked Dude on September 19, 2012, 07:17:52 PM
I'm probably showing my age on this one, but I think "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" is very dude.

Think about it:

Anyone agree?

Think about it:

  • Getting your shut-in best friend to get up and enjoy himself
  • Trusting your girlfriend to hang out with said best friend
  • Doing non-destructive things because they're just so damn fun
  • Feeling bad if your friend fucks up, but then understanding when he's fine
  • Carpe diem. He carped that diem all over the damn place.

Anyone agree?

Plenty of dude quality there. I agree.

You may be thinking of "Risky Business" with its "Sometimes you just gotta say fuck it, y'know?" (or something similar).

Here are some good quotes from FBDO:

QuoteLife moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

That was the quote I was thinking of! You knew that dude! :)

Peace dude.

Not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I'd still have to bum rides off people.

One of my favorite lines!!!
