Title: Unexpected Peace
Post by: PhotoDude on August 09, 2012, 02:33:53 PM
I just made a cup of warm unsweetened Lipton tea, and a thing of Knorr's Chicken Broccoli rice side. I don't know how, but after I finished them both, a wave of calmness came over me- an unexpected relaxation and peace of mind.

Now I know that many teas are used to induce such a state of mind, but I'm talking about regular old LIPTON tea here. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. On my way back from a swim in the sea on a bright, warm summer day, bottle of soda in my hand, watching the people walk by.

This happens to me often, I get the same feeling upon eating an In-And-Out-Burger (those are good burgers, Walter) and drinking a minimum of two oat sodas. I too get "an unexpected relaxation and peace of mind." Mark it ten!

..............the addition of coitus also helps. ;D

You had oat sodas, all I had was Lipton Tea. Which isn't meant to cause such a state of mind. Am I wrong?

Do not forget that such states of mind can be caused by completely immaterial things. Our brains hold a delightful array of substances with which to delight us, without any intake of foreign stuff whatsoever :D
