Skype denies police surveillance policy change

Microsoft's online message, phone and video chat service Skype has denied making changes to its system "in order to provide law officers greater access" to its members' conversations.

'Wiretap' patent

Concern about Microsoft's intentions were first raised over a year ago after the Conceivablytech blog revealed the firm had filed a US patent for Legal Intercept - a technology "capable of silently copying the communication between at least two entities" on Voip (voice over internet protocol) calls.

That's a bummer man, that's a bummer. I figured Microsoft would do something like that. Wait, isn't Microsoft some kind of toilet paper? (It's a Linux geek expression.) Lord you can imagine where it goes from here. You don't expect shit like that from Google. Not everyone can trust Google but I do because I abide, and if they pulled any of that crazy shit with me I would pull my data away from them so fast their heads would spin. BTW, I don't use Skype that much. lol
