The Way of the Dude - A Documentary in the Making
Today, almost 15 years after its release, The Big Lebowski has become the new century's most devout movie cult, spawning a legacy that most box office hits can only dream of: a dozen books; its own annual festival, known as "Lebowski Fest;" an almost infinite array of paraphernalia; a collector's items shop in downtown New York; an Italian soccer team (AC Lebowski) [DB Note: let us not forget the band "Lebowski - http://www.lebowski.pl/en "]; and now, coming to the subject of this documentary, even a religion, known as Dudeism, based on the life and teachings of the film's memorable protagonist, "the Dude." Its ethos? To just take it easy, mankind.
