Title: maybe not so alike
Post by: Abideist on April 18, 2012, 09:49:09 PM
Hey dudes, I know I've been cramming all sorts of shit on the boards lately, so hopefully this one will be the last from me for awhile.

I watched a documentary about how scientists had known the building blocks of life for a long time, carbon, ameno acids, proteins, UV bombardment, etc.  Anyway, they couldn't recreate life because scientists hadn't thought that maybe the order and way they were put together mattered. Well they finally did it awhile ago.

What I didn't think about until today was that it didn't have to originally come from just one place. I know the connection to making it synthetically and the first time isn't really important, but if it's no big deal now, maybe it wasn't such a big deal at first either? Maybe several little slime pools were creating the first proteins of life all over the planet, and maybe those pools had different sources of this and that.  Maybe those bits and pieces came from different dimensions even?  My point is that life generally evolves the same, eyes, legs, etc. There are certain species that have the same genetic stuff but look different, and different genetic stuff that look very similar. Maybe we are not so related after all? Maybe if your ancestors never met and bred with another ancestor, you two could be totally unrelated.  Totally. Even cosmicly. That could explain why some people suck so much naturally. haha. just a thought dudes.

Personally, I don't think scientists haven't a rat's ass of a notion where and how life began on earth, though they would like you to think they do, it keeps grant money coming into colleges, universities and what have you.  Every time you fart someone is proving something that was a sacred cow of evolution in the past or other facets of the "origin of life" to be bullshit. Like this.........

I can't read a monkeys mind, but somedays I don't really think  beyond my own personal desires.

 oops. double post

(just an observation, not really committed to any ideas at all, could be a test from god or biologically engineered space mutants for all I know but I do notice a lot of...monkey business...when I look out the window)
