Title: Officiating at my lil' sister's wedding!
Post by: stella on March 21, 2012, 01:03:21 PM
OMG it's a dream come true! I've always wanted to officiate at a wedding, and I'm super stoked because my little sister has just become engaged and wants me to lend a hand in linking her with her super awesome intelligent caring motorcycle-riding dude.

They're young college geeks who are into robotics, welding, and refining the design of a spud gun. The ceremony will be very simple what with all the being young and broke, but I want to do whatever I can to make it special for them.

Any suggestions for the ceremony? They're very open to ideas. Constraints involve cash cost, although friends to volunteer labor is no problemo.

Hey dude, snap on the ident image :)
There are a few threads kickin around with thoughts on how to conduct a dudeism wedding but a lot of them seem to try to rehash a Christian based wedding so good luck.
Maybe something on giving and receiving, strikes and gutters (to use a lebowskiism). Maybe try and keep it 'in the now' to reflect a bit on abideism? Imdo
