I do occasional book reviews for self-publishers. Wow, have I seen some garbage. Both from neophytes AND pros alike, supposedly after editting...  These folks think their book is ready for press!

That said, myself, 4 other people, AND a publisher edited a photography guide. Typos still made it through... I saw a typo or two in John Grisham's latest...

That list of titles is pretty funny.

Some typos are very common like "worst" or "worse." "Worse" relates to 2 items only, and "worst" relates to 3 or more of a choice, or multiples greater than 2, i.e., 3,4,5, etc.

As an individual who could not tell the difference between phonetically similar words (ie to, too, and two where all interchangeable as far as I was concerned) until I was eighteen I personally don't see what all the fuss is about.

Yours the house dyslexic.

;D

I ain't never seen no queen in her damn undies.  :D

Here is a hotly debated "typo;" "regardless" or is it "irregardless?"  Anglophiles insist on "regardless" and tend to claim that brutish uneducated low brow twits use "irregardless;" the type of slug that hits his women on the head with a club and drags her into the cave. ;D
