Saxondale?
Just discovered it on Netflix and watched the whole thing.
Love it.
The wife also.
I believe there is a bit of Tommy in all Dudes my age.
Some things cut across culture.
Tommy rules.

Crack squirrels.
Take em down to Chinatown!
I haven't watched this programme in quite some time...but yeah it was funny...
Have you seen Alan Partridge? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Partridge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Partridge)
I live in Norwich and I absolutely love the way the people in Norfolk are so fucking laid back! It is definitely a dudely county!
However it is very rural and therefore a lot of English folk think it is "backward" and honestly in some of the more outlying districts you do feel as if you've stepped back 50 years or so!
Alan Partridge sets up Norfolk and it's inhabitants brilliantly!
Some folks love it and some absolutely hate it. I'm an outsider and fall into the former category.
They say that you will get accepted into Norfolk after 25 years...I've only been coming here for 17 years and resident for 9 so I have a ways to go yet...my neighbours do speak to me though and don't necessarily think that I always have two heads!
Peace.
