The eagerly anticipated Raspberry Pi home computer is about to go into production.
The $25 (?16) machine is being created in the hope that it will inspire a new generation of technology whizz kids.

Saw this last week thank the gods finally a pc that can be properly distributed to the third world so they can start to catch up now. Though even sixteen quid is a bit steep. Hopefully this will be better than the $100 pc initiative.

Hey M5, what did you think of it? How impressed were you with it's performance? Did you see a demo? I agree; pretty cool that it's designed to distribute to kids in underprivileged parts of the world.

Well, if they start a fund or a charity I'd donate a couple of those, for ?16 a piece! It's a relatively small price for development :)

Well, if they start a fund or a charity I'd donate a couple of those, for ?16 a piece! It's a relatively small price for development :)
