Title: As a fan
Post by: BikerDude on November 04, 2011, 09:30:26 AM
Of Westerns I'm looking forward to the premier of "Hell On Wheels" Sunday night.
It looks like a good dark western. Hopefully it will hold a candle to the greatness that Deadwood was.

Deadwood rocks, that is for sure!! Damn right!!

But, I ask you; is it not true, and let us not forget, Jeff's rendition of Rooster Cogburn in True Grit, did it not rock as awesome as Deadwood? Am I wrong, or just an asshole?

Did you think the Duke played it better? Personally, I think both had their own strengths.

Well...see...it's not that either was better since I didn't care for the whole movie itself...wouldn't matter who player Rooster I would not have cared for it. Too much Shakespearefor my tastes...I don't know,....maybe Anthony Hopkins?

I was wondering how well Harrison Ford would have done as Rooster?
