I live in the East of England and the thermometer in my car has just stunned me by reading 31 degrees centigrade!
Now I don't mind the heat in fact I love hot sunny weather.... but this is October dudes! The temperature should be around 12 Centigrade!
We have clear blue tropical skies and beaming sunshine.....my plants have started flowering flowering (that was originally a mistake but I like the error!) for the second time this year....and I have a suntan!
WTF is going on dudes? I know you had ridiculous weather this year in the States all summer....is it cooling down now over there?
I remember a few years ago the scientists said we should expect this in maybe 2030....but this is just crazy!

Well I trump up to a new climate change that's long over due. I cannot believe the global warming farce we had some cold arse winters here in wisconsin the state of three seasons shiver, sweat, and construction When they stop drumming up excuses (oh crap a string of mild weather lets call it global cooling), and then harp global warming it will then make sense.

It's all sunspots man. I saw a correlation between sunspot activity and global temperatures over the last couple centuries... the match was uncanny. And, it's just, like, you know, my open onion, but there's unprecedented melting of the polar caps. And perma frost, is like - not permanent any more. It's turning into mud, you know, way up north. Pipelines from the Yukon built on permafrost are having to be shored up...
The evidence is overwhelming. So (IMHO) the argument isn't whether the global temperature is cooling or warming, it's about the cause of the current warming trend. Is it us, or ol sol?

Certainly nothing wrong with pasting some material you want to share with the group mind, but when it's a long article that is formatted to read easily on the original webpage, it would be better to post just a few lines from the beginning of the article to let other dudes know what it's about, a sort of "teaser" paragraph with a link to the page where the rest of the article is to be found.
If you will notice, TD, your pasted article is one big difficult to read block of words. Hardly any dude will read it. It just looks unattractive to the eye. It's better to take the time to format it like this if it's a long article (or even a better way below)...............

I hear you got one season over there...the Rainy Season! The coast of Washington State is like that as well...pretty much rains every frickin day. I was a choker setter for a few months in Longview...never did dry out completely while I was there. 8)
It's 71F here today, and honestly this dude doesn't give a fuck as long as I have some weather appropriate clothes to wear. Besides, in 3 weeks it's going to be a high of 40F and then once we get into Jan-Feb it's going to be in the negatives.

Yep, people seem to forget the "Global" in Global Warming and just look out their door and say it's fuckin' cold! Not much we can do about hoopleheads.
Actually the south of England will become colder during global warming because the Gulf Stream will move away from the south coast and stop warming the coastal regions, so as the globe warms up the coast will cool down.
I just don't know.
But on face value the denial of global warming makes perfect sense. Just like the tobacco companies denying addiction. Corporations are going to fight against having restrictions and carbon credits etc etc.
But I just can't see why all these scientists would all get together to invent global warming if it didn't exist.

There's a simple solution to Global Warming...if it gets too hot...create a Nuclear Winter. Just kick some dust into the atmosphere to cool things off.
