Title: Thought for the Day

And the British Government would back every policy that made it so, and provide troops as well.

Ha! Yeah, no doubt. Both countries tend to "bugger all" together! Hell, just look at Iraq and Afghanistan. Its almost like a couple of cousins who show up for a party and fuck up the whole thing.

Is that country cousins who may be too closely related to each other for any good to come of it (dumb and dumber comes to mind here).

It would be funnier if not so true.

We need to reform government, not vilify it, but right now, all world govs need a lot of work. I see that you have gotten into the UDHR Meekon, I like to educate people about it as often as possible.

Spent a bit of time whilst at university arguing the religion points.
"What's the worst thing I can do whilst here?"
"Oh yes try to set up a Pagan society in a cathedral university, that should be good enough!"

I was looking for the path that might lead humanity to the Type One Civilization future, from what I can see the UDHR is a critical step in that evolutionary path. That and a rethinking about what is personal ownership and what can and cannot be owned. I have come to believe that certain things necessary to life and civilization should be socialized, oil(energy) comes to mind.

If humanity could develop a more limber collective mind, we could truly evolve, but where we fall short of the UDHR causes a great deal of uptightness.

As for the couple of cousins, with Italy running behind them trying to do the same thing. Look at our last economy measure, the crisis is everywhere and the solution is to raise taxes. Well, at least we are the kingdom of Bunga Bunga, a world famous fitness practice.  :'(

I think I'll have another beer.

See the economy is collapsing around our ears, our leaders have proved more than useless, and all you can do is think about booze.

Mines a Guinness then!

Actually,I was thinking more along the lines of The Hogfather.Nothing really changes and it don't really matter what you believe in as long as you believe in something. As I may have previously indicated,my belief system is brewery based.
